Why are some of my Nintendo games missing?
Nintendo only shows some of what you own: mostly the games you've played on a console linked to your Nintendo Account, and your recent purchases. Add the rest, such as a cartridge you haven't played yet, by hand.

Nintendo doesn't show a list of every game you own. A sync brings what it can see: mostly the games you've played on a console linked to your Nintendo Account, and your recent purchases. Anything else can't come in, so add it by hand.
Why a game you own isn't there
- A cartridge you haven't played yet: it shows once you've played it.
- A game you bought a long time ago and haven't played.
- A game you played before your console was linked to your Nintendo Account.
- Some 3DS and Wii U games: Nintendo doesn't show all of their play.
- A game you hid from your Play Activity: it stays out of the sync too.
Nintendo has no achievements, so a Nintendo sync brings none. A game you bought but haven't played comes in without playtime.
