Terms of Service

These terms apply when you access or use GameVault. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use GameVault.

GameVault helps you organize games, import supported platform libraries, track progress, rate and review games, post screenshots and comment on them, create lists, follow other players, vote in community events, follow gaming news, ask support for help, and share selected information with other users.

Features may change as the product develops. GameVault is independent and is not endorsed by the game publishers, stores, or platforms referenced in the service.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Do not create accounts to evade restrictions or impersonate someone else.

When you connect a supported gaming platform or sign in with Google, you authorize GameVault and its authentication provider to process the data needed for that action. You can disconnect supported library sources from GameVault.

Third-party services can change, limit, or stop their APIs without notice. Their terms and privacy policies continue to apply to your use of them.

You keep whatever rights you hold in your reviews, screenshots, comments, profile text, notes, list descriptions, and other content you submit. You give GameVault a non-exclusive, free licence to store, process, and display it, only as needed to operate the service and only to the people your visibility settings allow. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what the Privacy Policy says is kept longer. A screenshot also shows a game whose publisher owns it: post only screenshots you took yourself.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, invasive of privacy, or harmful to others. We may remove a published review, screenshot post, comment, or profile text that breaks these terms, for example after another user reports it.

You may not:

• Break the law or violate another person's rights.
• Probe, bypass, or disrupt security or access controls.
• Use automated traffic that harms availability or exceeds reasonable use.
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data.
• Scrape private user information or misuse public community features.

We work to keep GameVault available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, and product changes can temporarily affect the service or imported data.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse, or discontinue the service. You may stop using GameVault at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings, Account.

The News page shows the headlines, short excerpts and pictures of stories published by other news sites, each linked to the article on its site, and the updates game makers post on Steam. Those stories belong to the sites and game makers that published them: GameVault doesn't write, check or endorse them, and a site's own terms apply when you open it.

Game information, release dates, ratings, achievements, and platform data can be incomplete or inaccurate because they come from third parties. Use GameVault as an organizational tool, not as an authoritative source for purchasing or legal decisions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as-is and without implied warranties. GameVault is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by using or being unable to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms may be updated as GameVault changes. Continued use after an update takes effect means the revised terms apply. Material changes will be communicated when appropriate.
